Get In Touch

We are happy to announce our speaker this year is Johnny Shelton, Chaplain for the Baltimore Ravens!  This is an adult only event.  Throughout the year we do events with our students, but this one event is for the adults who have been impacted by the work of FCA, or for those who want to learn more about the ministry.  It is our only fundraiser of the year.  We make it a very nice night out!

You are welcome to come as a guest, but if you would like to host a table of 8, sign up to be a Table Host.  A table host invites other adults who you feel will benefit hearing about FCA and potentially investing in our ministry.  We also need student volunteers that night, so click on the link below for more information.  Thank you and hope you can make it!

Keynote Speaker: Johnny Shelton

Mr. Johnny Shelton attended Southeast Missouri State University, where he was an all-conference football player as a defensive back. After college, he signed NFL contracts with the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers. Free Agency making it hard to make a final roster, he then left football to pursue a 10-year career in corporate America working for Procter & Gamble.

Johnny's passion for inspiring and motivating men led him back to the game he loves in 2005. Through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Johnny joined an up and coming program at Elon University for two seasons and then moved to collegiate powerhouse Virginia Tech, as their football team's chaplain. For seven years, Johnny worked alongside Head Coach Frank Beamer in providing character and spiritual guidance to coaches and players.

This work led to Johnny playing a vital role in establishing the Chaplain ministry within FCA. In 2013, Johnny made his way north and joined the Baltimore Ravens to encourage and uplift the players and staff, not only when they are on the field, but also off.
