FCA Community Ministry seeks off-campus opportunities to reach coaches and athletes through the club and recreation sport environment.

With the majority of athletes playing sports in the community (non-campus programs), FCA is ministering to the club, recreational and youth sports teams with the goal of establishing on-going ministry for coaches and athletes to compete for Jesus Christ with character, passion and excellence.

With that in mind, Northern Maryland FCA is working to build a calendar of events -- outreach into the communities throughout our area and state -- that foremost will shine a light on the Gospel. One of those came via Fields of Faith in November 2016 (facebook photos here), where students, coaches, athletes, parents, adults, community members came together to stand up as Christians.

FCA's vision is straightforward:

To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

And our mission, how we seek to put that vision into everyday life and ministry, is equally laser-focused:

To present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.

That vision and mission are integral to everything we do at FCA -- Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community ministry. And the opportunities we have to truly join God's redemptive work, through sport, extend to every corner of Northern Maryland's fields, courts, rec centers, endurance races, wherever!

  Coming Up

As God continues to bless FCA with vision and opportunities throughout Northern Maryland, we have reason to celebrate -- and to dream big about the future. We would love to have you join us at either of the two dinners happening in our area!
